The Masters 2016: Day Four
10 April 2016

Matt produced his best finish in a major, ending the week in a share of seventh place at The Masters thanks to a stunning final round of 67.

After birdies at the second and third holes, Matt dropped a shot back at the 11th but produced a sensational finish, with birdies at four of his final five holes to secure a memorable top-10 finish at Augusta.

He said: "For me it's just a momentum boost coming into the rest of the season, I guess. It's the first major of the season and really the start of the year for everyone.

"I just played really well tee to green. And I just gave myself a lot of chances. And that was the big thing for me today. Just kept giving myself chances. And I had a lot of putts between six to 15 feet. And certainly the back nine I started to hole them. That was the difference."
