Matt is looking forward to one of the best sporting events of the year this week, The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club. Coming off a tie for seventh finish in 2016, Matt hopes he can improve on that in one of his favourite tournaments of the year:
"I cannot waited to get started on Thursday, it's one of the best events of the year on a golf course I absolutely love. I have a lot of family and friends staying this week making it even more special. Hopefully we can improve on last year, that would be cool."
Matt tees off on Thursday with his good friend and two-time Major champion Martin Kaymer, and 2015 Masters champion Jordan Speith:
"I mean, I'm delighted with the draw. The crowds will be amazing and to play alongside two major champions at The Masters is something you dream of as a kid. I've played a fair bit with Martin over the last few months and I know Jordan too, it's shaping up to be a lot of fun."
