Matt wins his second DP World Tour Championship title
13 December 2020

What a way to finish the 2020 season!

On Sunday Matt fired a final round 68 to win the season ending DP World Tour Championship by a shot from Lee Westwood. It was his second victory at the event having won it back in 2016 and he joined some elite company in doing so (Stenson, Mcilroy, Rahm). It also meant Matt finished runner-up on the 2020 Race to Dubai and climbed to a career high 16th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Matt said:

"It was fantastic way to end the season. I've waited a few years to get another win under my belt and I do feel as if I've had a win coming all year so it was nice to get it done on Sunday. I must also give credit to my team for the hard work they have put in with me over the last few years. It hasn't been easy but this makes it all worthwhile, so I'm happy to do it for them."
