The scene of one of his previous triumphs, the US Amateur Championship in 2013, Brookine provided a perfect setting for Matt to claim his first Major Championship. On an amazing final day, Matt hit 17 out of 18 greens on his way to a one shot victory over Will Zalatoris.
Matt said "It feels amazing, way better than what I could have ever imagined. My game felt great coming into the week and having the memories of 2013 here, it just felt like it may be my week."
