Matt capped off a great 2022 season by finishing fourth on the DP World Tour Rankings, following a T5 finish at the season ending DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Matt led the tournament through 36 holes and was one behind Jon Rahm heading into the final day. An unfortunate 73 during the last round resulted in a tie for fifth.
Matt said "Obviously I"m disapointed with how I finished, but it's been another enjoyable season on the DP World Tour. I'm looking forward to coming back with bigger and better things in 2023."
Matt will compete in the Hero World Challenge in a few weeks time before wrapping up his 2023 calendar year.
