Arnold Palmer Invitational
17 March 2017

Matt finds himself on eight under par at the half-way stage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational after superb opening rounds of 67 and 69.

"I didnt feel like I played that great today but I scrambled really well for three under. Yesterday I was in full control of the golf ball but I lost that feeling a little bit on the front nine. I'm in a good position after two rounds and I'm excited to see what the weekend has in store."

Matt is enjoying his schedule across the Atlantic - finishing in a tie for 16th at the WGC Mexico Championship and 68th at the Honda Classic.

"I feel like I'm playing alot better than I was at this stage last year. I had a good week in Mexico but I'm still yet to play my best golf. Again, I'm looking forward to the weekend at Bay Hill and hopefully building some confidence ahead of The Masters."
